Too much ram usage 500mb, cpu spikes, browsing is slower, opening apps is slower. I tried to uninstall Kaspersky but got blue screen of death. Finally I preinstalled my Windows 10 and now all is good. My computer run much faster with Microsoft Defender.

Worst customer service ever. I called support and I was #1 next in line. I was on hold for over an hour and never got thru. Called back and told them to cancel my subscription. Received call a minute later. Did not resolve issue. Deleted the program. I have over a year left on my subscription, but no kind of refund, but were kind enough to not renew in June of 2024. Will never use this product again.
Notebook camera was blocked By Kaspersky

After update to Kasperky Plus the notebook camera doesn't work with Skype, Teams and OBS Studio. Works well with video calls in Whatsapp. I don't what kind of conflict with Windows 10 is running. If I suspend the Kaspersky protection the camera returns to work properly in all softwares. Even Kaspersky support knows what is happening. If someone knows what kind of problem is this any tips will be helpfull.

Had it for a while. It has taken me hours of hassle to get them to stop my subscription. Today, two years later, I've got a message saying they are about to debit my account for two on-going subscriptions. Avoid.

I pay for Adguard which stops virtually all pop-ups that websites use, yet Kaspersky blocks it from working when I boot up windows, Even when added an exclusion within kaspersky, I have to disable protection to allow Adguard to work then re-enable kaspersky.
My Solution? I just uninstalled kaspersky, I pay for Adguard I don't for kaspersky and tbh Adguard is more important

Been using antivirus from Kaspersky for twenty years. Still is the best antivirus out there. But their support has gotten terrible and is unreliable. Worse yet every new feature, upgrade, or add-on seems to break something. Even renewing the Total Security license this year broke the antivirus and had to deinstall, buy a new license, and reinstall. I don't know how many hours I've wasted! Support seems to want you to do most of the debugging - I've simply refused and forced them to do it. They've gone from a solid 10 to a 4 for support. As long as you stay with antivirus only I would give them a 6.

Given the current world situation I would not trust any software product originating in Russia, let alone security software. Not even a ghost of a chance.

Started with "Internet Security" version 6 (2006). I was the guy many people turned to to fix computers crippled by browser highjackers, malware, and adware (When I say people I mean friends, coworkers, family members and a church.) Between 2009 and 2016 on average I "loosely" supervised 30 systems a year. This has been my experience:
Someone would hear about my success and ask me to take a look at theirs. I'd find browser helper objects, adware, and viruses on systems supposedly protected by Norton, McAfee, or worse - AVG freeware. without any change of habit on the part of the user, I found the problems vanished.
